Prediksi di “Grup Neraka”: Rumania, Italia, atau Perancis?


Membuat prediksi atau menghitung kemungkinan-kemungkinan tim yang lolos dari Group C -Euro 2008 sebagai runner-up sangat merepotkan. UEFA mempunyai aturan yang cukup panjang untuk menyelesaikan masalah Tie-breaking, yaitu kondisi jika sebuah tim memiliki poin yang sama dengan tim yang lain dalam klasemen grup.

Bahkan, di grup A, yang kemarin baru saja selesai, sempat terjadi kemungkinan dilakukannya tendangan pinalti untuk menentukan runner-up grup (aturan 7.08), yaitu kondisi jika Ceko dan Turki bermain imbang. Namun, Turki yang bermain ajaib, mampu mengalahkan Rep. Ceko setelah sempat tertinggal 2-0.

Di group C, semua tim masih memiliki peluang untuk lolos masuk ke perempat final.

Perhitungan Sederhana

  • Rumania pasti lolos jika bisa mengalahkan Belanda. Apapun hasil pertandingan antara Italia vs Perancis. Tapi, mungkinkah?
  • Jika Rumania seri atau kalah, maka yang lolos adalah pemenang antara Italia vs Perancis.
  • Jika Italia vs Perancis berakhir imbang, dan Rumania juga seri melawan Belanda, maka Rumania yang lolos.

Namun, perhitungan neraka masih mungkin terjadi di grup C…
